To Stage or Not To Stage a Home?

To Stage or Not to Stage?   There is no the question.

Sellers may wonder if having their homes staged is worth the investment. With the increased number of  new construction options for buyers in today’s market, Sellers are competing with newer floor plans and features that are readily available to scrutinizing buyers. This can make it difficult for resale homes to appeal to buyers, especially if the homes are vacant.

To STAGE or Not to STAGE ...

Here’s a recent example of a home located in The Country Club of Lakewood Ranch that had outstanding curb appeal on a quiet cul-de-sac with beautiful landscaping, outdoor lighting, pavers, concrete barrel tile roof, wood ceiling treatments and a newly painted exterior that led buyers through double front entry doors into a lovely but … VACANT home.

The Sellers’ listing agent Tina Ciaccio hired a Tampa interior designer to stage the main living areas. The results were astounding.  “Staged properties tell the home’s story to prospective buyers so they can visualize themselves living in the space,” says Tina

A case in point here, the future Buyers of this home had been looking for months.  They fell instantly in love, made a cash offer and closed within 2 weeks.  “There’s no question, when marketing a vacant home for sale, ALWAYS stage when possible,” says Tina.
